A wonderful metalic green. This was a rewarding shot. This is in the spread-winged catagory of damselfly. Most damselflies close wings over body when they land not holding them out as a dragonfly will.

Beautiful Deborah!! I am not educated on these but if all damselflies look like this then I'm pretty sure I have never met one, I love the eyes!!
